Bayou Community Foundation (BCF) is now accepting grant requests from qualified 501c3 nonprofit organizations and local government agencies to fill critical unmet needs in Lafourche Parish, Terrebonne Parish and Grand Isle, Louisiana resulting from the COVID-19 health and economic crisis. This is Round 2 of the Bayou Recovery Fund COVID-19 Relief Grants Program. Completed applications for Phase 1 of the COVID-19 Relief grants program are due via email by Friday, May 22, 2020.
Federally approved tax-exempt nonprofit organizations in good standing and government agencies serving residents of Lafourche Parish, Terrebonne Parish, and/or Grand Isle are eligible to apply.
Grants shall be awarded strictly to support or expand programs that directly address critical needs arising from the impacts of the COVID-19 health crisis and local economic downturn, and serve Lafourche, Terrebonne and/or Grand Isle residents. This may include but is not limited to programs such as but not limited to food and medicine distribution, rent/utility assistance, mental health counseling, health care, and employment assistance. Specific funds are available for health care, mental health, medicine in Round 2.
