Bayou Community Foundation is now accepting grant requests from local nonprofit organizations for Round 3 of the Bayou Recovery Fund for COVID-19 Relief Grants Program.
Completed applications are due via email by Friday, September 18, 2020.
Grants will be awarded in October to federally approved tax-exempt nonprofit organizations serving Lafourche, Terrebonne and Grand Isle residents impacted by the COVID-19 health and economic crisis.
Nonprofits filling critical needs in our community resulting from the pandemic such as but not limited to food distributions, rent/mortgage/utility assistance, health care, mental health, and business/employment assistance are eligible to apply. Grants may also fund health and safety modifications required by nonprofits to provide critical services to the public during the pandemic.
Since April, Bayou Community Foundation has awarded 53 grants totaling $441,750 in Rounds 1 and 2 of the Bayou Recovery Fund for COVID-19 Relief Grants Program.
