Now Our Neighbors Need Our Help. Here are ways we can give it.
Our Bayou Region is no stranger to disaster. We know what it’s like to be flooded out of our homes, to be separated from family, and to rely on the kindness of strangers. Others have come to our aid in the past, and now it’s time for us to help them.
Bayou Community Foundation applauds our local community for supporting our neighbors in Acadiana, the Baton Rouge area, and the Northshore as they struggle to clean up and rebuild following the historic floods this weekend.
Dozens of local nonprofits, governments, schools, churches, and individuals around our area have mobilized to collect and distribute cleaning and personal supplies for flooding victims. We salute you all and the hundreds of residents who have responded to your call for donations.
If you, your company, or organization would like to make a cash contribution to support relief and recovery efforts in the hardest hit areas, Community Foundations throughout South Louisiana are now accepting disaster recovery donations to help these communities in need.
